Supported by NOAA/NESDIS and its Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. CIMSS/NESDIS will produce rapid scan GOES-10 high-density, satellite-derived wind products. These products will also be supporting THORPEX (The Hemispheric Observing system Research and Predictability EXperiment) and
PACJET (PACific landfalling JETs experiment)
