25 February: There were no rapid scan IR winds at 12z due to sat. ops.
and no 9-10z IR nor 8-10z WV winds due to eclipse mode.
IOP 14 run from 3z-7z.
26 February: There were no rapid scan IR winds at 12z due to sat. ops.
and no 9-10z IR nor 8-10z WV winds due to eclipse mode.
Also, there were no 5-7z IR winds due to GOES-8 eclipse support.
IOP 15 run from 2350z, 25 Feb. - 730z 26 Feb.
27 February: There were no rapid scan IR winds at 12z due to sat. ops.
and no 9-10z IR nor 8-10z WV winds due to eclipse mode.
Also, there were no 5-7z IR winds due to GOES-8 eclipse support.
The IR image navigation was suspect at 18z.
There were no NESDIS WV winds available at 16z.
28 February: There were no rapid scan IR winds at 12z due to sat. ops.
and no 9-10z IR nor 8-10z WV winds due to eclipse mode.
Also, there were no 5-7z IR winds due to GOES-8 eclipse support.
For unknown reasons the 16z NESDIS WV wind product did not arrive.
Due to a computing failure at NESDIS there were no 18-23z WV winds.
1 March: There were no rapid scan IR winds at 12z due to sat. ops.
and no 9-10z IR nor 8-10z WV winds due to eclipse mode.
Also, there were no 5-7z IR winds due to GOES-8 eclipse support.
Due to a computing failure at NESDIS there were no 0-12z WV winds at all.
For unknown reasons the 16, 22, and 23z NESDIS WV wind products did not arrive.
An abbreviated IOP 16 was run from16-17z.
